The shop has been closed for two weeks for renovations, as works are underway to modernise the shopfront and create a more fit-for-purpose space for the organisation.
The renovations also coincide with a refresh for the group, with a new Launceston City branch being established to run the volunteer-run shop.

Launceston City branch vice-president Sharon Hutton, who has been a member of the CWA for the past 12 months, said the shop was a vital link for its regular patrons.
"We do have our regular customers, and it's probably not who you think," she said.
Mrs Hutton said the shop had a local and international reputation for its homewares, with young parents, shoppers and business owners in the area returning to stock up on the handmade cakes, slices, preserves and clothing items.
"We find that we have a lot of young mums come in, we are one of the only places you can get a handmade crocheted layette for babies," she said.
Once the pandemic hit the CWA was inundated with requests for masks, which were sent all around the country.
Mrs Hutton said layette orders also come in thick and fast, and some are sent as far away as Japan.
"We have people come in with patterns and sizes, and they say it needs to be ready by a certain time and it's being sent to Germany," she said.
Traditionally seen as a social outlet for the wives of farmers and rural workers, the CWA has undergone several crucial transformations over the years to become a social connection for many women who are looking to be part of a community.
Mrs Hutton said she joined the CWA 12 months ago after being exposed to it through different craft groups and said she enjoyed the social aspect.
"Because I am retired, I love being able to be a part of the community and social side, also I have a background in retail, so I enjoy being able to help out the shop," she said.
Renovations to the shop include new counters, a new fridge, painting and cabinets, as well as renovations to the back meeting room.
The shop will also include a history corner, detailing the history of the Launceston branch and showcase trophies they have won over the years from various competitions.
- The shop is expected to reopen sometime in April. The Launceston City CWA branch is also looking for more volunteers. Contact the shop on Facebook if you are interested.
