
Tasmania's young endurance track cyclists have added silver and bronze to their gold medals at the national championships in Brisbane.
The 60-lap under-17 madison saw Launceston's Lachlan Oliver and Burnie's Alex Eaves finish second and Nicholas Broxam (Burnie) and Jonas Shelverton (Hobart) third behind NSW winners Liam and Kai Goltman.

The Tassie riders had earlier combined with Dylan Rogers (Hobart) for team pursuit success with Eaves also winning silver in the omnium.
Coached by Janelle Smith, the Tassie team also includes Thomas Blazely (Launceston) and Mersey Valley duo Meika Derrico and Sybille O'Rourke who finished fourth in the under-15 sprint.
Meanwhile, Hobart road rider Cam Wurf has helped INEOS Grenadier teammates seize first and second position in Italy's five-stage Settimana Coppi E Bartoli.
Launceston mountain bikers Sam Fox and Izzy Flint warmed up for Oceania champs by finishing second and fourth respectively at the Mt Stromlo UCI event.
