Tasmania's link with A-League side Western United has continued to grow before the club returns to UTAS Stadium in April.

Five South Hobart players - Sam Berezanski, Jacob Lancaster, Joshua Divin, Michael Hurd and Alex Brown - joined the club's academy and NPL 3 under-21's squad last week for training sessions.
The Tasmanian quintet, ranging from 16 to 18 years of age, impressed academy director Anthony Frost.
"First and foremost, we've been impressed by the players' attitude and application throughout their time with us," he said.
"It's testament to their character and the environment they've been exposed to that they can slot into our culture and meet our standards."
Frost hinted that similar opportunities could become a regular thing, with the club eager to become 'the destination for up-and-coming Tassie talent'.
"It's clear that there is a good group of young players with the potential to play at a high level and the club has identified that a close relationship can only be beneficial in the long run," he said.
"We are looking at exploring how we can establish some strong connections, not only through the development of players, but the development of coaches also.
"We'd hope this relationship also allows us to look at playing pre-season games in Tasmania in the future too."
Returning to the UTAS Stadium for clashes against Perth Glory on Saturday, April 16 and Macarthur FC on Tuesday, April 19, United started their association with Tasmania last season.
The club brought an end to an eight-year drought of A-League competition in the state, defeating Central Coast Mariners 1-0 and drawing with Wellington Phoenix 1-1 in front of COVID-restricted crowds.
