The annual film festival, held in May, has always focused on the talents of filmmakers, but 2022 will mark a new era as the event expands to include the performing arts, food, and wine.
BOFA will also extend its running period, moving from a three-day festival to a 10-day festival.

Director Owen Tilbury said the BOFA team was excited to celebrate Tasmania and what it offers.
"We are really staying with the heart of BOFA, but ramping it up and making it more of a destination festival," he said.
"With the pandemic hopefully easing its way out ... now is the time for us to say hey, don't worry about going overseas, come to Tasmania."
Mr Tilbury said the creative partners joining the festival would include Launceston's Harvest Market, Interweave Arts/REMADE, Stompin' Dance, Launceston Improvised Music Association, The Tamar Valley Wine Route, Farmgate Festival, Design Tasmania, FermenTasmania, and QVMAG.
"We are really going to mix it up this time. We are pumped because the thing about festivals is you have to reinvent yourself. We are a breath of fresh air, we do things differently. We don't do the same old boring stuff," he said.
The festival will have two parts to the program: the films on offer, and the other events that will be held in conjunction with the films.
"It's hard to actually get a photographic replication of what a film festival is because it's people sitting in dark rooms normally [but not this time]," Mr Tilbury said.
The film part of the program will have eight themes, which are Stories of Us, World Stories, Eat and Drink, Wild Side, Creative Passions, We Are Who We Are, Classics, and Creating Wonder.
Stories of Us will also include a national short film competition called First Nation Stories.
The arts, food, and wine part of the festival will include three main dinners and lunches accompanied by films, with one to be held at Peppers Silo, another at Stillwater, and a third at Josef Chromy.
BOFA will run online from April 1 - May 6, and then be place-based from May 6-15. The festival is also searching for volunteers to help out. For more visit breath-of-fresh-air.com.au.
