The program offers family-friendly activities including crafts, chalk art, planetarium shows, and a Build a Boat Challenge to see which boat can hold the most.
The Museum Clue Hunt is also back again, with families invited to find all the clues to enter the QVMAG prize pack competition.
General manager of creative arts and culture Shane Fitzgerald said the museum would be a fun go-to location for families during the holidays.
"Whether you're expressing your creativity through a large-scale chalk drawing in the courtyard, entering one of our family fun challenge days, or exploring the universe with the planetarium; QVMAG is the place to be this summer," he said.
City of Launceston deputy mayor Danny Gibson said it was wonderful to see a range of interactive activities on offer for Northern Tasmanians.
