Two separate car crashes allegedly caused by drink driving kept Tasmania Police busy on Friday night.

A 22-year-old man crashed his Subaru station wagon into two parked cars on George Street about 6.30pm.
Police said the man recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.132 and was taken to the Launceston General Hospital for assessment. He is due to appear before a Magistrate.
Almost four hours later, police responded to a separate Newstead incident about 11.08pm.
Police said the 52-year-old woman crashed into a traffic light at the intersection of Elphin Road and Hoblers Bridge Road before hitting a parked vehicle in Olive Street.
While the driver's car sustained extensive damage, she was uninjured.
Police said the driver returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.166 and was arrested and bailed to appear at the Launceston Magistrates Court.
