Mr Mav posted a screenshot of a text message exchange between senator Lambie and a constituent which included her phone number, following her speech to the Senate on Monday that slammed One Nation over its vaccination mandate stance.

Senator Lambie raised the issue in the Senate on Tuesday and said she had received a number of "nasty, abusive and threatening phone calls and messages" as a result.

"One Nation have crossed a line here that should never be crossed," she said.

"You've got the AFP briefing politicians about our safety, we've got gallows on the steps of Victoria's Parliament, and senators in this very chamber should not be facilitating any abuse."

Senator Lambie said she would be required to change her phone number.

"I give my phone number to veterans whose mental health is not so good and most of the time they're on their last legs," she said.

"I'm going to have to change my phone number because I need to make sure my family and friends are safe."

In her speech on Monday, senator Lambie described One Nation as "hypocritical" for claiming it opposed "discrimination" over vaccination status, while the party attempted to discriminate against same-sex attracted people and people from Muslim-majority countries.

Mr Mav posted a text message exchange that showed senator Lambie saying she was opposed to vaccine mandates.

In response to senator Lambie's concerns, One Nation Queensland senator Malcolm Roberts confirmed Mr Mav had posted the number publicly.

But senator Roberts said senator Lambie had posted the number publicly herself in the past.

"We don't condone publishing phone numbers that are private," he said.

"I need to correct the record and state that Steve was sent the phone number by a Tasmanian voter that got it from senator Lambie's Facebook post with an invitation to contact her.

"Steve has removed the phone number from his post. The text message stating that senator Lambie opposes vaccine mandates remains."

Senator Lambie shook her head vigorously at the suggestion she had previously posted her mobile number on her Facebook page.

Since being endorsed as One Nation's Senate candidate for Tasmania, Mr Mav has spoken at various events opposed to vaccination mandates, including a protest in front of Parliament House in Hobart on Saturday.
