
A teenager has been charged by Tasmania Police in relation to a number of car break-ins in Devonport on Monday morning.
A police spokesperson said reports were received about 3.30am Monday about a person allegedly breaking into cars at Haines Place.

On arrival they located and arrested a 16-year-old boy, who has now been charged with a number of offences and will appear in the youth justice court at a later date.
Police have charged the teenager with 11 burglaries, two attempted burglaries, eight counts of stealing and 10 counts of computer related fraud.
"Police will allege the motor vehicle offences occurred in a number of areas in Devonport including Sorell Street, Percy Street, Oldaker Street, Nixon Street, Best Street and Haines Place," the spokesperson said.
Anyone with information, CCTV footage relating to the offences, or further reports of burglary, are asked to contact Devonport CIB on 131 444.
