Break O'Day Council has begun works on the Binalong Bay Foreshore footpath, which are scheduled to be finished in February.
The pedestrian and cycle track will extend past the Binalong Bay car-park area to Skeleton Bay Reserve. The work has undergone flora and fauna and Aboriginal Heritage Assessment and has received approval from Park and Wildlife and Aboriginal Heritage Tasmania.

The path will span more than 800 metres, with work to take place from now and February over eight stages, to minimise disruption during the area's busy summer period.
The project is being funded through the first round of the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program provided by the Australian Government.
