A young child was taken to the Launceston General Hospital on Friday night after an incident at Rocherlea.
The young child was riding a bicycle when they were hit by a car.
The child suffered minor lacerations to their head.
It was the second crash in the same day, after a man in his 70s was hit by a truck on Invermay Road on Friday morning.
The man was taken to LGH after sustaining minor injuries.
