Tasmania's RANT Arts has been named as a finalist in the National Resilient Australia Awards for its annual Minds Do Matter exhibition.
The resilience awards recognise initiatives that showcase innovation and practice, which build and inspire community connections and foster resilience.
Minds Do Matter is a state-wide community art exhibition exploring the relationship between art and wellbeing, and raises community awareness.
RANT Arts is now in the running for the Suncorp Resilient Australia National Community Award thanks to its work with Minds Do Matter.
Program manager Karen Revie said it was exciting to win the state category and be put forward as a finalist for the national awards.
"Mental health is paramount. I do a lot of things in arts around community and mental health. I am particularly pleased mental health is being recognised as something really important," she said.
The winners will be announced on December 8.
