While questions of form and squad depth are the usual discussions at this time of the season, many in the TCL are pondering a simpler question, if the dreary weather outlook will again hamper the league.

Longford are travelling to the Hadspen fortress this weekend with an eye on toppling the league-leading Chieftains in a heavyweight clash at the top.
"We've built a pretty good rivalry over the last few years, we had a good win last week but didn't get it all out own way ... we need to be better in the field this week," coach Josh Adams said.
Hadspen's Liam Reynolds said the reigning premiers were not taking their opponents lightly.
"Longford are obviously the form side of the competition and we treat that as a challenge in itself, well-drilled and well-rounded side so we've got to be at our best," he said.
Max Magann misses for Longford while Patrick Morehouse and Kyle Davey are likely to be under consideration. Ash Smith is out for Hadspen.

Evandale are on the road to Trevallyn with the former eager to move into the higher echelons of the table as the latter looks to stay in the finals places.
While Jonty Manktelow misses the Trevallyn fixture, he said their opening win of the season would instil belief in the group.
"It was good to finally get a win on the board and get the confidence levels up ... and to build some momentum coming into this week's game," he said.
Trevallyn captain-coach James Whiteley wants to see a complete performance after his side displayed patchy form to start the year.
"There's glimpses and they're encouraging glimpses but we need to pull it together and understand we need to lift against the better teams," he said.
Lahiru Alahakoon is also out for the Panthers but Ramesh and Sagar Chhetri come in. Jed Steele and Ajanthan Loganathan are out while Sean Conway and Jacob Millwood come in.
Perth are eager to break into the top four and their trip to last-placed George Town presents that opportunity.
Perth coach Matt Devlin said there was more than meets the eye with George Town.
"If you look at the results they've had, I don't think that a true indication of how they're travelling from an outsiders point of view, from my perspective they seem to be playing well so we'll have to bring our best," he said.
George Town coach Jack Hill shared the admiration for Perth as they look to break their winless run.
"Really interesting outfit Perth, I know they lost a couple of their main guys from last season but they're still winning which is quite impressive," he said.
"They definitely present a big chance for us to perform but also you have to respect the unknown."
Legana and Bracknell will fight it out in middle-table collison for a proverbial 'two-way swing' when they meet on the latter's home deck.
"We've had some good games against them in the past, obviously it's a game we can win but we need to bat our 40 overs we haven't done that once this year," Legana's Dylan Sharman said.
"That's going to be a big, big target of ours."
Michael Dunn and Tate Jacob are replaced by Shaun James and Mitch Fisher.
