2. Clothing Market
November 20, 11am-2pm
The Behind Closed Drawers preloved clothing market event will be back at St Ailbe's Hall to offer handmade, vintage, upcycled, and brand new clothes for all. Entry is free. The market will be the second-last one for the year, with the final Behind Closed Drawers to be held on December 11. Potential stallholders can contact info.behindcloseddrawers@gmail.com to inquire about booking a space.
3. Market Day
November 21
Franklin House is having a Market Day in the Garden from 10am-2pm. Entertainment will be the Launceston Clarinet Choir and the Launceston City Band. There will be a variety of stalls, Devonshire tea, barbecue, children's games, and croquet. Entry is by donation. All money raised from the Market Day goes towards the general maintenance and day-to-day running of Franklin House.
4. Rose Festival
November 21
Festival of Roses returns to Woolmers Estate to celebrate the first blooming of the rose garden. This year, the day-long event will be divided into two sessions: 10am-12.20pm and 12.30pm-3pm. The festival's main focus this year is to provide a select range of stallholders selling plants, gardening implements, gardening ornaments, and all other things gardening. 5. Thai Culture
November 21
The Thai Food & Culture Festival, created by the Thai Association of Tasmania, aims to showcase the authentic food and culture of Thailand to others. With 12 food stalls, traditional performances, children's activities, and food demonstrations there will be something for everyone. The event falls on the same weekend as the Floating Lantern Festival in South-East Asia. The event will be held from 11am-4pm with free entry at Civic Square on November 21.
6. MoFo Session
November 22, 5.30pm arrival
The teams from Mona Foma, Visit Northern Tasmania and Launceston Central City's City Prom will be hosting an industry night for businesses to mix, mingle and hear directly from the event organisers about what's happening in Launceston for Mona Foma 2022 and how they can get involved. The event will be held at Hotel Verge. Mona Foma's industry engagement session is open to business owners from Launceston and the surrounding region.
