Frontier Software informed its clients earlier this week that its systems had been impacted by a cyber incident.
Federal Group's payroll system, Chris21, is run through Frontier.
It was the second time this year Federal Group systems have been impacted by a cyber attack, although this latest incident was not targeted at the operator of Tasmanian casinos, hotels and bottle shops.
In April, the company was hit by a ransonware attack that took down its poker machines and check-in facilities for several weeks.
Federal Group executive general manager Daniel Hanna said the issue had been resolved.
"Federal Group's access to Chris21 has been restored," he said.
"All staff are expected to be paid on time and we do not anticipate any further issues.
"Federal Group was one of many businesses impacted by the issue with Frontier Software. This was outside of Federal Group's control and was not related to an incident that impacted Federal Group earlier this year.
"Federal Group has not been advised of any breaches of staff members' personal information."
