That's the words of Laura Inder, who has put Tasmazia on the market, two years after her husband Brian Inder, whose ideas are behind the popular tourist attraction, lost his battle with cancer.

"I always had to tell Brian that I didn't want to run it without him because it was his passion and his dream to leave a legacy for people of all ages," she said.

"In one sense it's his product and we are team so I'm proud of that but he didn't have any family to keep it going and that was his deepest sorrow."

Mrs Inder said she had aimed to sell it early last year but held off after COVID-19 forced her to shut the doors temporarily.

"I was going to put it on the market in March last year but COVID happened and I couldn't sell it as I wasn't sure if it was going to viable business," she said.

"Brian would have hated COVID.

"He was always a person who wanted to find solutions and COVID was a problem he couldn't fix and he would have been very frustrated with that.

"We had to close for six months but once we reopened the Tasmanian community has embraced us and I am very, very grateful for that."

With it being Mr Inder's passion and no family to take it on, Mrs Inder said she was hoping a like-minded buyer would come to the table.

"It's not about the money, it's about finding someone who has the right heart to take it on," she said.

"There is a place for the property to grow as Brian had plans for accommodation units but it's time to let someone else put their stamp on it and make their own dream.

"I want someone to carry on the legacy."

Mrs Inder said she never saw it as a full-time job, after originally travelling to Tasmania for a three-week holiday.

"This never meant to be a full time thing," she said.

"I came here for a holiday 36 years ago and I never went back.

"Brian was a beautiful mentor and he kept the mural town going.

"It all coincides with us not going ahead with the dream of the Mt Roland cable car."

Mrs Inder will spend her retirement looking after the rest of the farming property, which she admitted had been neglected because of Mr Inder's passion for Tasmazia.

"I will miss the staff, who have been an integral part of its (Tasmazia's) success, as they have been my family."
