Basketball fans will get their first taste of the JackJumpers' on-court persona when the NBL Blitz begins in Hobart this weekend before heading to Ulverstone and Launceston in the coming weeks.
"Obviously first impressions are always important, hopefully we're going to be enthusiastic and be aggressive, be tough-minded and enjoy playing," Roth said.

That identity under a Roth coaching manual could look a little different to the stock standard game-plan which NBL fans are used to seeing.
The JackJumpers mentor hinted supporters could be surprised by what plans the league's newest franchise carry out this weekend.
"I play small anyways, I would play five guards I don't really care how big anybody is at the end of the day, I played under Guy Nelson who used to play five guards so I like positionless basketball," Roth said.
"Guys that are able to be versatile, Will [Magnay] happens to be our biggest player but I have no problem putting five smalls out there."
As the JackJumpers' tallest player, centre star Will Magnay shapes as a key piece of the roster heading into the franchise's debut season.
The former Brisbane Bullet is recovering from injury but remained unsure how much of a role he would play on-court during the Blitz.

The match-up would have given the chance for Magnay to face the team he made his name with until he headed to the NBA with New Orleans.
"I am back to full training, I am back doing everything competitive just got to get my fitness back up and get through a couple of weeks without my body breaking down and then I should get the all-clear to play," Magnay said.
"It's all on-track, I am happy with where it is at, the medical staff are happy too.
"I'll stick with what they say and I'll be happy with that if I can play 10 I'll be happy if I can play two I'll be stoked."

As one of the more experienced players in the JackJumpers' squad, Magnay appears likely to play an off-court role in the Blitz as he recovers from injury.
"I'll stay involved as much as I can, I've tried to take on a little bit more of a leadership role this year and I'll keep trying to develop that throughout the year," he said.
"I can't just sit there and clap and watch so I'll definitely be involved.
"I am still part of this team and I still get to be involved so I am excited to see how rowdy the crowd is going to get."
The JackJumpers will get their Blitz campaign underway against the Brisbane Bullets on November 14 at MyState Bank Arena.
