The Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra has launched its 2022 season, with no less than five of the orchestra's principal players stepping into a soloist role.
Between January and July next year, the orchestra will return to Launceston with three concerts at Albert Hall - Music from the Movies, Weber Clarinet Concerto, and Elgar Cello Concerto.
Woolmers Estate will also hold a concert by the Tasmanian String Quartet.
TSO Live Sessions will be held across Tasmania at various venues such as microbreweries, sheds and hangars, and almost all concerts will be live streamed to subscribers.
However, only the first half of the season has been released now, with concerts between August and December to be announced once 2022 is underway.
