Australian Honey Products has shifted its focus to the Best of the Best dinner after sweeping up at the annual Tasmanian Fine Food Awards 2021.
The Sheffield honey farm country garden was champion in its category. Australian Honey Products owner Lindsay Bourke said it wasn't a honey usually considered the best.

"It changes and depends on the season... this year was a wonderful season and it picked up a lot of points," Mr Bourke said.
Taverner's Tasmanian apricot and honey mead was the champion beverage. Both products will contest in the Best of the Best awards night on Saturday, November 13.

"I would feel really proud if we do win something [on Saturday]."
He said the Tasmanian Fine Food Awards championships gathered for the Best of the Best night, when an overall champion would be decided.
