Megan Jane Chilcott, 34, pleaded guilty to counts of supplying a controlled drug namely buprenorphine to another person at Risdon Vale on December 24 and December 31 last year and between January 8-15 this year.
Chilcott also pleaded guilty in the Launceston Magistrates Court to unlawfully bringing an unauthorised article into the Risdon Prison complex on January 29, namely pregabalin, buprenorphine and tobacco.
Buprenorphine is a prescription drug that is taken as a replacement in the treatment of heroin and methodone dependence.

Defence counsel Fran McCracken told Magistrate Reg Marron that a disputed facts hearing was necessary to resolve a factual dispute over the value of the items on two further charges of possess a restricted substance and possession of a controlled drug on January 29 last year.
Ms McCracken said there was a significant difference between the police prosecution estimate and the defence position.
The disputed facts hearing will be on April 26 next year along with facts and sentence on the guilty pleas.
