Waverley woman accused of claiming $170k for carer's payment
A Waverley woman did not plead to a charge of dishonestly causing a loss when she appeared in the Launceston Magistrates Court.
Ann Louise Wooders, 57, who was represented by Olivia Jenkins, had the matter adjourned by Magistrate Ken Stanton until February 8, 2022.
The Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions alleges Ms Wooders made a false statement with the intention of causing a loss to Services Australia contrary to Section 135 (3) of the Criminal Code.
