Junction Arts Festival and Party in the Paddock are celebrating their wins from the Tasmanian Tourism Awards.
In the Festivals and Events category, Junction took out gold while PITP came in second with the silver award.
Junction chairwoman and president Liz Frankham said the festival was thrilled to have won the coveted gold place.
"It's a wonderful recognition of the enormous team effort in very trying times to bring some fun, art, and music to Launceston. Thank you to the amazing Northern community who continue to support us," she said.
Vibestown - the company responsible for PITP - director Ryan Limb congratulated Junction for their efforts and said he looked forward to working with them in the future.

"It's amazing to see two Northern Tasmanian events taking out gold and silver for the awards. After a wild 18 months of unknown, it was refreshing to see a room full of Tasmania's tourism industry being optimistic about the future and celebrating their hard work," he said.
The awards were announced on Friday evening, with Northern Tasmania collecting a total of seven gold medals. Winners will proceed to the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards.
