However, of the 22 fixtures lined up across the nation in the traditional pre-season tournament, the two being played in Launceston are the only ones which will not count towards the Blitz standings.
Ahead of the Tasmania JackJumpers becoming the first state franchise to enter a national sporting competition since the Hurricanes joined the Big Bash League, the team will take part in five Blitz fixtures.
The first will be part of a double-header on November 14 when Adelaide 36ers face Cairns Taipans and the JackJumpers hosts Brisbane Bullets to christen the newly-upgraded Derwent Entertainment Centre in Hobart which will become the new home of the Tasmanian franchise.
Two days later the same venue will see the JackJumpers face the Taipans as well as Perth Wildcats against Adelaide.
The competition moves to the North-West for another double-header on November 21 when the Wildcats take on the Taipans before the JackJumpers face the 36ers at Ulverstone Sport and Leisure Centre.
Three days later the same venue will see the Taipans versus the Bullets followed by the JackJumpers and Wildcats.
Unlike the 2019 version, when Launceston Blitz fixtures were played at the Silverdome, Elphin Sports Centre will stage both matches on Friday, November 26.
The Silverdome is undergoing works to improve the lighting and facilities for broadcast capabilities for the regular NBL season games next March.
Scott Roth's JackJumpers host the Taipans at 5.30pm with the 36ers and Wildcats locking horns two hours later.
All games are worth a maximum of seven points with three awarded to the winning team, and an additional point to the side that wins each quarter.
The NBL stated that the Launceston fixtures "will not count towards the Blitz standings" as they are additional matches to the amount being played by teams from NSW and Victoria.
Entry is free with tickets available at www.nblblitz.com.au.
All games will be streamed live on Kayo Freebies ahead of the regular season start on December 3.
