While the club is still looking for some more players this season, coach Michael Quill said the excitement was high ahead of their opening game.
"The girls have really improved so we're actually really excited to actually get on the park on Saturday and it should be fun," he said.
"It's a super proud moment for the Westbury Cricket Club to have their first girls team running around and it's a big honour for us [Quill and Bernes] to be involved with it."

While the core of the side is young, former Australian representative Kristen Beams is set to don the Westbury colours in a guest appearance with the club.
"It'll be a big help for Kristen to come along for the first game and someone for them to look up to and see that there's a pathway to the national side," female development officer Ian Bernes said.
"She's prepared to come back to the club where it started."
Bernes said the club was open to more players donning the Shamrock colours this season.
"We're currently still trying to chase some older women, experienced players to put around the girls' because there's plenty of support from the club on training nights but on game day they need some leadership and girls' that have played cricket," he said.
Westbury men's captain Daniel Murfet and coach Matthew Battle welcomed the new addition to the Shamrocks' playing ranks.
"I guess it's something that has been on the club's radar for multiple years, it's taken a little while to get off the ground ... it's going to make a massive difference," Murfet said.
"Women's cricket we've seen progress a long way in the last few years with the WBBL and the impact that's had ... hopefully it's going to have a really positive impact on our club."
"I think it's fantastic, we're trying to get as many young ladies out to play as we can, we found a lot that play in town now originated from the Westbury area, it'd be great to get our team up and going."
Ahead of a tough fixture against a strong Blues side, Quill said his focus was building a culture in their debut season.
"We're not out to break records and stuff like that, we want to improve throughout the year and if we get a win fantastic but the thing is to build the foundation," he said.
