Tasmania Police are investigating a house fire at Hargrave Crescent, Mayfield.
Tasmania Fire Service and police were called to the vacant house at 10.40pm on Wednesday, and arrived to find the house well alight.

Fire crews extinguished the fire, but the house was destroyed.
It is believed the fire was deliberately lit.
In an unrelated incident, a vacant home at Hargrave Crescent was set alight on September 25. This incident came 24 hours before a second property in Treherne Street in the same suburb was damaged by fire.
