Despite plenty of success in the reserves over previous years, the Saints haven't reached senior NTFA success since 2004.
Retaining his playing list, Jake Lowe will be joined in the coaching role by Alex Russell as a co-coach and has recruited the likes of former division one opponents Callum Harrison, Jake Carins and Brodie Vocke.
"One of our weaknesses which we found last year was our speed and our skill on the outside," Lowe said.
"That's something that we've focused pretty heavily on pre-season with Cal and two or three other recruits who can run and use the footy."
Re-joining the club are Jacob Perkins and Brodie Langley, while former St Pats schoolboys Jono Marsden and Ronan Filgate have come across from Launceston.
A playing assistant coach is also set to be unveiled, with former North Launceston and Meander Valley player Harrison impressed at how his new side is looking.
"On paper we are looking like we are going to be very strong so as long as during the pre-season we work really hard and work on building that chemistry, I think we should have a pretty decent year," he said.
"With the way that the boys have recruited and the way Lowey and Albie [Russell] went about the whole process was really appealing and it sort of made the decision really easy to make."
Finishing fifth on the ladder, St Pats' seniors were knocked out of the 2021 finals series in week one.
