The annual event was cancelled last year due to COVID-19 restrictions, but will return on Friday and run through to Monday.
The fair is scheduled to be spread over various venues and galleries across Deloraine and will host a number of high-quality artisans across a broad range of crafts, both traditional and contemporary.
A collection of skilled individuals, including many Tasmanians, will make up the 260-person group of exhibitors on show.
Each of the exhibitors will compete for the coveted $10,000 Premier's Art Prize that is sponsored by the Tasmanian government.
Director for the Tasmanian Craft Fair Rob Van Der Elst expected to see the community out in force over the four-day affair.
"I think a lot of people are extremely eager to attend an event after such a long break, so all we can hope for is good weather and the rest will take care of itself," he said.
