Two devoted Launceston volunteers and an entire Cavaliers team have been inducted into the Tasmanian Netball Hall of Fame.

Netball Tasmania named the late Jan Walley and Northern Hawks stalwart Ann Pearce as inductees in the category of volunteer.
Walley was a life member of Netball Tasmania who held many roles, including president, with the Northern Tasmania Netball Association, plus roles on the Tasmanian Netball Association Board and the All-Australian Netball Association Board over a 26-year period.
Pearce has also served in many roles with both the NTNA and George Town Netball Association, including as a board member and president. She has also been president, coach and manager with Northern Hawks in the Tasmanian Netball League and a long-serving manager of state teams.
Wendy Berry, who has provided 36 years service to Burnie Netball Association, many of which as president, as well as with the Tasmanian Netball League, was also inducted as a volunteer.
The Cavaliers' 19-and-under Tasmanian Netball League team, who won five consecutive premierships from 2011 to 2015 was inducted in the team category.
Due to a limited number, no formal induction ceremony will be held for the 2021 intake. Instead, inductees will be formally recognised at a ceremony in 2022.
Inductees in the category of athlete include:
- Bev Harris, who represented Australian in 1953 and was a reserve to the team in 1946 and 1948.
- Amber Zieliniski, who captained an AIS tour of England and played in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy for the Adelaide Ravens.
- Ollivia Beveridge, who played in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy for Sydney Sandpipers as well as in the English national competition.
Netball Tasmania chief executive Aaron Pidgeon said he was thrilled to announced the inductees.
"It's always exciting to be able to recognise some of the greatest contributors to our sport in Tasmania, and this is a wonderful and well deserving group of Inductees," he said.
"We're disappointed not to be conducting an induction ceremony this year, but we believe it's important to ensure that we're able to create an event which allows the inductees to be celebrated in the best way possible."
Pidgeon added: "It's important that the bar for induction into the Tasmanian Netball Hall of Fame is set very high, and we believe that this year's group is indicative of those standards"
