Tasmanian Chamber Musical Festival organisers are just glad a makeshift event has been able to get off the ground this weekend.

Due to lockdown restrictions, the event has been cancelled for the past two years with interstate artists unable to attend.
A full festival which was planned for this weekend will not go ahead as planned, but event organisers are looking forward to a weekend of art and music in Evandale.
Festival director Allanah Dopson said she is excited for smaller events that will still be on in the area.
"While it's disappointing not be starting the festival proper, we're still very lucky to be welcoming the exquisite Sharan and Slava Grigoryan for a day of music-making in Evandale, which is our way of saying thanks to those who supported us and bought tickets for the original festival," she said.
"Those looking for a cultural experience in Evandale this weekend will also be able to enjoy a pop-up spring gallery at the Clarendon Arms, which is open to the public from Wednesday to Sunday until mid-November.
"We are also saying go and see Van Diemen's band who are performing in Scottsdale so we are really happy to be promoting our colleagues and friends who have done it really tough."
However, Mrs Dopson was hopeful for the future of events in Tasmania.
"Now domestic borders are close to opening up, we're looking forward to making up for lost time and planning a grand return to the Northern Tasmanian midlands in 2022."
