A central Queensland prison has gone into lockdown after unrest in a number of units, with reports of damaged property, threats to other prisoners and inmates on the roof.

Emergency response plans were activated at Capricornia Correctional Centre, just north of Rockhampton, on Thursday morning in response to "protest activity".
As of 1pm, a group of about 30 prisoners had been contained in a secure area and retreated onto the roof of one of the buildings.
One inmate has been taken to hospital, but it's unknown if their injury is related to the unrest.
Officers from around the state, including dog squad units and emergency response teams, are being called on to "reinforce the centre's staffing", Queensland Corrective Services said in a statement.
No injuries to officers have been reported.
