Bouquets and notes are piling up at a park on Goldie Street, as the community mourns the loss of two young lives.

Thomas Courto, Bree-Anna Thomas and Isaiah Dixon went out in a boat from the Wynyard Boat Ramp on Monday, and have not returned alive.

The bodies of Ms Thomas and one of the young men were discovered on Wednesday, washed up near Fossil Bluff Beach. The search continues on Thursday for the other man and the yellow boat.

The news seems to have rocked the entire Wynyard community, as well as many Coasters, and a flower tribute is steadily taking shape next to the Wynyard Post Office.

Moorleah's Ellie Griffin was among those who decided to pay tribute, bringing fresh cut tulips from her farm as an offering from her entire family.

She said she had not known the trio personally, but had felt devastated by the news.

"I think this type of thing just shakes whole communities," she said.

"It's just a bit f*****.

"I'd never really been affected by this stuff until I had kids of my own, it makes it so much more relatable and devastating.

"I hope this little tribute really blows up and lots of people come support it."
