A caravan parked in a driveway of a home at Mayfield has been destroyed by fire overnight.

About 11pm, fire crews were called to Sturt Crescent after reports that the caravan was alight.
The fire from the caravan spread to the house and resulted in an estimated $40,000 worth of damage.
Tasmania Police said the fire was believed to be suspicious and investigations were ongoing.
