Qualifying for the state finals with wins in their regional competitions last month, 10 teams - six girls and for the first time, four boys - battled it out for the right to be Tasmania's champions.
Not held last year due to COVID-19, the competition as a whole grew from 24 teams in 2019 to 60 this year.
GIRLS' TITLES
A North versus South grand final was guaranteed following the semi-final match-ups of Riverside against St Patrick's and Dominic College against Mackillop College.
St Patrick's (24-20) and Dominic (14-13) came out victorious but the grand final would see an easy win to the former as St Patrick's emerged 34-15 winners.
Represented by Matilda Allen, Isabella Barry, Georgia Brown, Olivia Brown, Chloe Cunningham, Alice Jones, Ava Lockwood-Roden and Emily Watts-Heazlewood, the St Patrick's side completed an impressive series.
Blitzing the Northern championships, piling on 180 goals while only conceding 39, the victorious side had a slightly harder day at the state titles.
Defeating Burnie 33-23 and Mackillop 20-8 in the group stages, the winners accounted for fellow Northern winners Riverside in the semi before taking the title with the win over Dominic.
Burnie got the better of fellow North-West side Marist 31-22 to finish fifth.
BOYS' TITLES
After a tie in their round-robin match-up, Clarence High School defeated St Patrick's College 24-20 to be crowned Tasmania's first boys' netball champions.
Ties were a prominent feature of St Pat's outfits' day, unable to be split from both Clarence and Hutchins 18 goals apiece in their round-robin matches.
But their opening round 18-8 victory over Riverside was enough to get them into the final before the Clarence side saw them off.
Riverside marginally defeated Hutchins 18-15 in their round-robin game before accounting for them in the third and fourth play-off 17-10.
Clarence's winning team featured Ashton Burk, Mitchell Gorringe, Blake Harper, Travis Knop, Flynn Marshall, Curtis Miley, Jordan Peel, Marti Suris, Ozzie Warmbrunn and Ryan Williamson.
