As the Cricket North and TCL competitions prepare for their first-round matches this weekend, The Examiner looks back at last season and its top partnerships.
Despite only playing 40-over matches, a Herculean 306-run effort from Hadspen's Dane Anderson and Thanuka Dabare was the Northern region's top partnership of 2020-21.
Cricket North's top tally also came from the one-day format as James Curran and Ben Humphrey both hit maiden centuries in their 251-run stand.
The turf competition's grand final sides dominated the wicket stands, with Riverside amassing five of the top combinations and Launceston three.
Blues Patrick Mackrell, Aidan O'Connor and Lyndon Stubbs managed to feature in two of the top-wicket partnerships, as did Curran, of Launceston.
The TCL's stands were shared around, with only Anderson and Perth's John Hayes featuring in two and seven of the nine teams represented.
Making the grand final, Longford weren't able to have a top stand for one of the 10 wickets, but featured a mammoth 238-run stand between Josh Adams and Jackson Blair - the league's second biggest.
