A man has sustained life-threatening injuries from an ATV crash on a North-West property, police report.

Tasmania Police report initial investigations indicate the ATV was travelling down a hill when the rider lost control on a Burnie farming property around 10.30am on Wednesday.
The man and his passenger were reportedly thrown from the vehicle.
"The man was airlifted to the Royal Hobart Hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in a serious condition," police said in a statement.
"His passenger was taken to the North West Regional Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries."
Police are calling on anyone with information about the crash, who has not already spoken to investigators, to contact Burnie Police on 131 444.
