Ballet & Dance Arts Tasmania co-owner Jacquelyne France-Marsden said the mid-year concert was designed to give the students another performance opportunity.
"Celebration of Dance is comprised of a lot of different dance pieces. Rather than a story there is a lot of different dance pieces from classical, to jazz, to contemporary," she said.
The school also wanted to support the Princess Theatre in a time where the performing arts industry is getting back on its feet after COVID-19.
"We are very fortunate and appreciative to have a venue like [the Princess Theatre]. I think for the local community it's our responsibility to support our local theatre as much as possible," Ms France-Marsden said.
"We think it's a beautiful opportunity for [the students] to be on stage, knowing a lot of places globally can't do that."
The performance will be held on October 9 and tickets are available through the Theatre North website.
"It's the tail end of the school holidays so if there are any families stuck for something to do, come to the theatre," Ms France-Marsden said.
