As well as the date being moved, the venue has shifted too, now being held at the NTCA complex, which will no doubt help all the memories flood back.
Organising member Peter Scott was disappointed the event wasn't able to go ahead as planned but is pleased with the reunion's plan B.
REUNION PROFILES
"By having the get together at the home of cricket in the North, we have been able to come up with an attractive package that will benefit the resident clubs, the NTCA community and provide hope that the interstate contingent will be free to travel safely at that time," he said.
"Whilst disappointed with not getting off the ground with the original concept, the organising committee are more determined than ever to produce a function that will reconnect players, supporters and officials from the past and integrate with the current group."
Tickets been reduced from $77 to $45 and will now include an all-inclusive five-hour drinks package.
The organisers are holding a casual no-charge reunion of sorts on Friday night at Riverside Cricket Club, with previous ticket holders encouraged to attend.
