The popular holiday destination for local families closed in March 2020 due to COVID-19 and a change of operators, before it reopened in December to campers.
It remained open for the summer period, at a cost of more than $71,000 to the council, before it closed again for winter.

At the City of Launceston Council meeting, councillors vote unanimously to set an overnight camping fee price of $20- the same price as last year.
City of Launceston mayor Albert van Zetten said he was thrilled that Council would be in a position to reopen the park to the public in time for the upcoming summer holiday season.
"The new operators will be onsite 24/7 and are excited at the prospect of a busy summer season.
Given how popular the park has proven to be, it wouldn't surprise me if it was fully booked out over the entire holiday period," Cr van Zetten said.
This year, 30 camp sites will be available to the public with 15 sites boasting river frontage.
"The Council fully appreciates how important and how popular Myrtle Park camp ground is to the community," Cr van Zetten said.
"Once the grounds do reopen, we fully expect it to be booked out and I would encourage anyone who wants to stay at Myrtle Park over summer to get in early."
Bookings for camp sites will open to the public from 9am on Monday, September 27 through the Launceston Visitor Information Centre and online via the City of Launceston website.
The park will close on April 30, 2022 for a three-month period over winter, and is expected to reopen again in August.
