1. Dance Festival
September 24 - October 2
The Launceston Festival of Dance commences September 24 and runs through to October 2. Things are a little different this year with the event being held at the Launceston Conference Centre. It has been a challenge to hold numerous events in light of COVID-19 restrictions at some venues, hence the change of venue for this year. There are 1600 individual performances, which include solo, duo, trio, and group items. Twenty-two Tasmanian dance schools will participate over the nine days of the event. Each day will include four smaller sessions commencing at the following times: 8.30am, 12.00pm, 3.30pm, and 7.30pm for the evening session.
