Not held in full last year due to COVID-19, this year saw the return of all six games, with Kings Meadows' 2020 win coming in handy to keep the trophy in their grasp.
Played at South Launceston Football Club's Youngtown home ground, the cup sees two girls teams as wells as the junior and senior teams take part for school supremacy.
Starting in 2014, the concept of the cup has evolved over time, with the addition of the girls matches in 2017 for the firsts and 2018 for the seconds.
Despite the loss, Queechy High School teacher Luke Tepper spoke highly of the event.

"A lot of the teachers between Queechy and Kings Meadows have played footy up there [at South Launceston] and it's obviously a feeder from the two schools, so a lot of the players that the club gets, they get from the schools," he said.
"We all got together and thought it would be a good way to bring all three parties together and create an event for the kids.
"We've got the division two games, which are a bit more about participation, and then the division one games which are a bit more serious, so between the two of them, it gives you a bit of a fun day."
Kings Meadows got out to the lead, courtesy of their win in the girls seconds but Queechy pulled it back with their senior and junior twos.
Consecutive victories to Kings Meadows in the junior firsts and senior girls secured the cup, with Queechy's senior firsts ensuring the cup would be retained rather than won outright.
A dominant second-half performance got the senior firsts win for Queechy, following up from their strong Hawks Cup statewide showing, with Sam Shaw, Oliver Dean and Cameron Wicks all kicking four goals.
Since the inception of the event in 2014, Kings Meadows have won every year apart from 2019, which saw Queechy clinch the cup in a nail-biting two-point senior girls finish.
Celebrating the result on social media, the cup holders praised the event's sportsmanship before thanking the coaches, parents and volunteers that made the day successful.
