UTAS Stadium and neighbouring Invermay Park will be flat out between October 23 and 27 with all eight teams playing in back-to-back double-headers to kick things off.
Another 14 matches are scheduled for Bellerive Oval with three more listed as "to be confirmed" by Cricket Australia, but UTAS Stadium manager Robert Groenewegen is confident the venues will cope.
"It's an earlier than usual start but that's OK and we're ready to roll and looking forward to it," he said.
"We've never had this many in a row before but because we've had a substantial amount of WBBL and are in our fifth year of BBL now with back-to-back games last year, that puts us in good stead."
After installing the first of three drop-in wickets in 2013, UTAS Stadium hosted the Aussie 15s tournament before a crowd of 17,771 watched the Ricky Ponting tribute match in 2014. It has since staged seven BBL fixtures and nine WBBL.
"The whole theory was to attract national cricket back to Launnie and that strategy has worked really well," Groenewegen said.
"We've hosted a lot of cricket now when you go right back to the Aussie 15s. That made people notice that we can have cricket played here.
"Along with the Ricky Ponting tribute game, these games really put us on the map so we have a debt of gratitude to Tim Coyle and Ricky for those games."
Invermay Park also jumped on the WBBL bandwagon last year when the Hurricanes hosted Ellyse Perry's Sydney Sixers and Groenewegen is proud of how the precinct has evolved.
"We've got good turf practice wickets between the grounds as well so I think we're in good stead," he said.
