Jason Fletcher teamed with Jack Heathcote for a tie-break victory against James Rakus and Josh Chugg while teammate Thomas Gleeson scored an impressive 6/4 win over Titan Dave Beattie.
Two more wins courtesy of the Fletcher/Gleeson doubles combo (6/3) and a 6/4 Heathcote singles win over Chugg sealed it for the Warriors, allowing Fletcher to skip his singles with a minor neck injury while Heathcote and Gleeson put the icing on the cake with a 6/3 doubles win.
Riverside Intas took the opportunity to steal Trevallyn's third spot with a huge 6/36 to 0/14 win at home against the Legana Parrots. Intas' Hamish Lockett triumphed 6/5 in a tight one against Stuart Lake and Lockett paired up with Daniel Binns for another tie-break win against Lake and Andrew Faulkner, but the remaining rubbers were one sided as Daniel Warren dropped only two games for the night and Intas seemingly didn't miss captain Jordan Lovick and Isaac White.
The close one was at Riverside where leaders Riverside WiseGuise edged previously undefeated Riverside Ramjets 4/30 to 2/26.
Ramjet Matt Webb surprised Campbell Young with a 6/2 singles win but WiseGuise claimed the other two singles rubbers, Andrew Roberts defeating Patrick Michael 6/2 and Fletcher Young still on a roll, 6/3 over Ryan Walker. The Young brothers' 6/5 tie-break victory over Webb and Walker was one of a number of good doubles rubbers, including an impressive 6/4 win to finish the evening by Webb and Michael over Campbell Young and Roberts.
In Division A doubles, the Trevallyn derby saw a hard-fought 6/3 6/4 6/5 win go the way of undefeated Glen Clifford and Jeff Speer against Dave Beattie and Phil Bonney, while Legana's Stuart Lake and Kiran Naidoo moved into second spot with a cracker against Andrew Roberts and Arwen Koesmapahlawan 6/5 6/3 6/5.
