An investigation into a fire at Ravenswood is underway after firefighters saved the home from devastating damage.
Emergency services responded to reports of a fire at the Warring Street unit shortly after 4am this morning.

A Tasmania Police spokesperson said crews were able to extinguish the fire in its early stages, which caused about $3000 worth of damage to the property.
The spokesperson said the occupants were not home at the time and no one was injured.
Tasmania Fire Service and police have launched an investigation with the cause of the fire unknown.
