A 42-year-old Bicheno woman drowned whilst diving at Waubs Landing Area about 10.45am on Saturday.

According to Tasmania Police, the woman was in the company of another person and was diving in shallow waters close to the shore when she began to experience difficulties.
The woman was assisted from the water unconscious before members of the public assisted with CPR.
She was taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital by helicopter but later died.
It comes after a recent report by Royal Lifesaving Australia found a 30 per cent increase in drowning incidents in Australia last summer, when compared to the previous year.
Of those drownings, 57 per cent occurred in coastal areas.
Federal Sport Minister Richard Colbeck said the human impact behind the statistics was devastating.

"Drowning deaths are more than just numbers on a page," he said.
"Every death is a tragedy that impacts families for years to come."
Police were at the the scene for several hours and are preparing a report for the coroner.
