This comes after anti-fish farm group Neighbours of Fish Farming released recreated documents they claim show huge swathes of the coast opened up to potential development during a Cygnet community meeting.
They said these were prepared by an inter-departmental government committee and leaked to the group.
NOFF president Peter George said the maps "expose the lie that is at the heart of the Government's 10-year plan".
"Big Salmon is gearing up for a massive sea grab," he said.
"The government must explain why it publishes a 10-year plan for the salmon industry with a moratorium on expansion while secretly planning a vast sea grab, and hiding the coastlines and communities that may soon face an invasion of huge fish feedlots."
Shared by Bob Brown at the meeting, the maps are said to show proposed changes to the no-grow and grow zones which were under review by the state government.
A spokesperson for the government said the claims from NOFF were untrue.
"To be clear, there are no new or secret Grow or No Grow maps despite claims from those who want to shut the industry down," they said.
"The Tasmanian Government will spend the next 12 months developing a 10-year Salmon Plan to support our sustainable salmon industry to remain world leading."
Announced by Primary Industries Minister Guy Barnett on Thursday, this plan will include an immediate 12-month moratorium on offshore salmon farm expansion. It will also focus on exploring on-land and deeper water opportunities.
"The Plan will be developed with input from the industry and community to identify new long term actions that support our vision for a sustainable industry," the spokesperson said.
