President Robert Antel said the market day is an important part of the societies year.
"We meet twice a month as a group and then twice a year we hold our market days, but we had to cancel one earlier this year due to COVID. So this is the first event we have had in two years and its exciting for it to return."
For many of the stall holders their collections have grown into enormous accumulations of stamps, coins, postcards, badges and pins over the years.
Some of those in attendance were looking for new items that they maybe hadn't seen before.
"Being collectors they may have gaps in their collections, so they are keen to come down and see if they can find certain things or types that they don't have yet."
"I collect postcards mainly and I have around 20 to 30 thousand postcards in my collection," said Mr Antel.
Aaron Shaw and Caitlin Hutchinson from Devil's Coins and Collectables came from Hobart in order to showcase their goods.
"We specialise in coins, but we also have bank notes and other collectables. We have the 2012 Red Poppy commemorative Coin which is quite significant so that has been popular today," said Mr Shaw.
