The Tasmanian Government announced on Saturday that the 25,000 Tasmanians who received a voucher now have longer to make sure they can find time to use the $300 voucher they received as part of the initial ballot.
Minister for Tourism, Hospitality and Events Sarah Courtney said that it was to ensure those lucky enough to receive a voucher were able to get out and experience the best Tasmania has to offer.
"We know that our travel voucher scheme has been incredibly successful by getting locals to holiday at home here in Tasmania,"
The vouchers allow for $200 to be used for purchases of accommodation and $100 for touring and attraction experiences.

"We have seen a lot of demand for these vouchers, and we have seen that many operators are full and some people are having difficulty finding time to use them," said Ms Courtney.
The government is hoping that with the upcoming school holidays it will encourage more people to use this time to redeem their vouchers.
"With interstate travel options remaining limited we hope that this will encourage Tasmanians to enjoy their school holidays right here in Tasmania."
