SPORTS EDITOR ROB SHAW
For more than a decade, The Examiner's Junior Sports Awards have recognised and showcased excellence in sport across the North.
The presentation night is always a big celebration of achievement featuring a major Tasmanian athlete as guest speaker.
Ricky Ponting, Richie Porte, Jake Birtwhistle, Georgia Baker and Milly Clark have been among those sharing their stories.
We are delighted that this year's guest speaker will be Ariarne Titmus who not only won four medals, including two golds, at this year's Olympic Games but is a previous Junior Sport winner, claiming the female individual award in 2014.
