Reflecting on the Blues' second straight grand final win over cross-city rivals North Launceston, Boland praised coach Mitch Thorp and backed the competition to continue beyond its existing contract which expires in two years.
"Super excited. It's awesome," Boland said about her team's 12.5 (77) to 6.7 (43) victory at UTAS Stadium on Sunday.
"A lot of work went into this. It started a few years back and to be able to maintain that momentum through that time has been awesome.
"They're a great bunch of kids, they've all worked really hard and really deserve this.
"It means a lot to the club. It shows it's worth putting the effort in through the pre-season and the year."
Thorp was swift to single out Boland in his post-match interviews and the appreciation is clearly mutual.
"Mitch and I work really well together," she said. "We both support each other but tell each other when things are not right for the best possible outcome."
The Blues dominated Tasmanian football this season, winning three minor premierships, two flags, both statewide goal-kicking comps and numerous individual awards including first and second places in the player of the year.
They played in three grand finals with the women adding the NTFAW crown to their statewide flag from last season.
Ruckman Joe Groenewegen added to the accolades with the Darrel Baldock Medal for best-on-ground in the grand final.
Boland was confident the domination could continue and that there would remain a statewide competition to perform in.
"We'll try and do it again. Back-to-back was our first aim because it's been so long since anything like that's happened so it's great that it's happening now.
"There's such a great culture at the club. People love having their kids and partners here. We're all about supporting each other and it's a really fantastic place to be.
"We're working really hard with AFL Tas and all presidents are on the same page and we work really well together so we are looking to extend the contract beyond 2023."
