Launceston lead North Launceston 5.2 (32) to 4.4 (28) at half-time of the Tasmanian State League grand final at UTAS Stadium.
With the Blues being led by coach and inclusion Mitch Thorp's two majors, it's a different story for the Bombers as leader Brad Cox-Goodyer seems to be battling a left arm injury.

Thorp booted the first goal of the game as the Blues looked like they were controlling the first term but an after-the-siren goal to Mark Walsh left just six points between the two.
The goal, and some bumping between Judah Edmunds and Jack Tuthill prompted a quarter-time brawl, just like last year's big dance.
Although not to the same level, all players looked to be involved as the tempers continued to flare.
After the break, the Blues grabbed two goals as Cox-Goodyer's injury became obvious but he got the Bombers back in the game with a volleyed major followed by an immediate free to Tom Bennett.
