The Tigers defeated the Bulldogs in their qualifying final match-up having not beaten them all season but that didn't phase the eventual victors, led by David Marshall Medallist Harry Charlesworth.
Longford looked to set the tone early through Lawson Archer's superb first goal but the opening term belonged to Artis and the Bulldogs.
Following up from Lachlan Frankcombe's major, Artis booted a bomb from 50 before two close range goals, the first thanks to a fantastic pass from Matthew Lee.
Longford's Thomas Gatenby got one back late in the first to have the margin at 10 points at quarter-time but Harry Summers cancelled that out with the opening goal of the second.
Goals to Alex Clements and Jake Elmer put the Bulldogs in front by 29 deep into the second term, leaving the Tigers plenty to do.
The Tigers went against momentum to get their third through Oscar Edwards, giving them 23 points to work with in the second half.
Like the second term, an early Bulldogs goal to Elmer off the back of some brilliant Artis work cancelled out the Tigers' late major.
As the Tigers needed to start hitting the scoreboard, the game's scoring slowed down, waiting over 10 minutes for the next goal.
The goal was well and truly worth the wait however, as Tigers star Angus Foster finally converted after looking dangerous all day, getting on the end of a teammate's smother to slot one from an absurd angle.
But the 'Dogs, as they did all day, had two more answers through Lee, the second a superb boundary-line run, shrugging off several opponents to give his side a six-goal lead.
Frankcombe continued the trend of early Bulldogs goals as Summers effectively sealed the deal with another unreal boundary-line goal in a match-up that was filled with them.
The premiership meant back-to-back victories for co-coach Peter Czerkiewicz after coaching Launceston to the STJFL under-18s last season.
The win also comes after the Bulldogs looked like they were struggling to field a side in the pre-season, producing an unbelievable turnaround.
